Share the Love

Valentine's Day is such a wonderful opportunity to show others we care and love them.  This week in Sunday school we are presenting a project called "Share the Love"!  The students will come up with  ideas on how to present random acts of kindness to others in need of encouragement such as helping a sick neighbor or relative, visiting a nursing home and take handmade cards or going to a children's hospital and read stories to the sick children.  After they complete the project they will sit down with their parents and journal this experience about how it made them feel.  We will them share the stories with our friends. I love this idea and think you could incorporate this into the classroom as well. What better way to show God's love through these acts of kindness.
